Potential for Extra Money

In this day of loss employment, each of us must begin or continue to seek income earning potentials. That is what brought many of us to Hubpages. Tha catch word was “earn while you write”. I am still waiting mind you, but remain optimistic and learning, growing and enjoying the interactions of the wider community of writers.

Failure to Try is trying to Fail

One of the signs that I noticed in the rich is their determination and willingness to start again and again after multiple failures.

To become wealthy, one must have a certain attitude. This is the mindset of the 5% of the world. Whether they are from the “old” or inherited money or the “new” money millionaires like the Gates and the Google guys,they are willing to do something different, unpopular, unconventional and they stuck with seeing their ideas and visions through in face of oppositions and even ridicule.

Not having money or time or support did not dter them from their vision. They are focussed and results oriented.
The rich does not buy into the ” money is evil” philosophy. They know that money answers all things. It opens doors and can facilitate many solutions to vast life problems. Some say that money cannot buy love but the lack of it also cannot compensate anything.
Negative opinion of ones self is often a deterent to attaining wealth. As a man thinks, so is he and where the mind goes you go. To begin to progress towards wealth you must begin to think differently. Adopt an ” I can” attitude.
Respect for money is a must. Some of us were never taught the right attitude towards money. We are always chasing it and seldomly coaxing and invitin it into our lives. Money has a personality like people. We attract based on what we reflect. If we hold money to tightly it literallly suffocates and dies and if we don’t protect it it will just walk or fly out of our hands.
Giving is a basic principle with rebound effects. Note that the wealthy are generally givers. Sometimes people think that they should give everything away, but that would not be wise at all. A farmer who sells or gives away all of his harvest would have nothing more to plant and therefore, no HARVEST.
Investing is a trait of the wealthy. They study and carefully observe trends, they buy low and sell high, they strategize on how to invest.
Rich people know how to take risks, they expect increase and so they look for every oppurtunity to grow their money. They may borrow money to invest instead of for buying cars, furniture and taking exotic vacations.
The rich does not spend money on items that devalue in nature , more that their outlay on items that appreciate in value.
The rich are patient and usually wait many years before they are able to enjoy the fruits of their hard work and sacrifice.
The rich usually does not justify their failures, they learn from them and move forward.

Why are We Not Taught in School?

Money is an agency that all of us must use as legal exchange all over the world. So why is there so little education at all levels of the education systems about making, saving and investing money? It is a hit or miss matter for some people, with the emphasis on consumerism over investing and accumulating wealth and financial security. There is no lack of information to entice people into spending and borrowing and indebtedness,but little education on getting away from this very common “norm”. I wonder, who benifits the most from this parody? The rich or the poor?

If we want change, we must first change.

Educate ourselves. Some of us were taught to be afraid of numbers, math not the favourite subject and so we subconsciously moved away from the subject.

Get over the fears,become unstuck by availing yourself to the lacking information. Go online, read articles, check out the difference between where you are and where you want to be, You are the one to do it, the only one.

Take responsibility for Your Life, it is yours go make it. We must learn to play the hand of cards you were dealt in life to your fullest advantage.

There are lessons to be learned from your life experiences that could change your life for GOOD.

Go check it out. What are your gifts, skills and passion? What is your life purpose.

Spend time on yourself, enquire inside of you and I am sure like the rich, you will find out.

Examine your feelings and thoughts about money and people with money. It may be the key to why you have not succeeded at attracting wealth.

I have found that the greatest thing that we can do for ourselves is to manage our feelings and emotions they really do take us where we need to be or keep us where we are.

Teach your own kids, grandkids or even start a program for this purpose at your home or community center. There will be much wealth to be gained in this type of investment.

Science Fiction or impending reality?

I asked the question is an ongoing Forum on Hubpages about procreation between gay couples. As an adult and a health care professional for years, I know that traditionally we need the egg from a female and the sperm from a male and usually the ideal environment within a female uterus to have fertilization and implantation to occur.

This is the millennium and there has been much talk about cloning and stem cells investigations and research. Most of us have heard about stem cell research in the areas of brain and spinal cord injuries, pancreatic transplants and other essential and politically correct health issues , but there are other stem cell researches that are ongoing and this one may benefit gay and lesbian couples.

This year, scientists have claimed to have created human sperm from adding male skin cells to a special mixture which regressed their cells to embryonic cell state before being transformed into sperm.

The viability of this created sperm for use in In Vitro Fertilization has since been retracted, but the samplings will be examined for other possible uses including treatment for male infertility.

The idea of a “female sperm” is not hopeful as females only Carry the X chromosome. The “Male Egg” is also being studied. It could be possible, theoretically to take the nucleus of a human sperm and place it in an enucleated egg to form a male- egg, which could then be fertilized by another male or the donor male. This could result in the offspring having two fathers or even in self fertilization.

Parthenogenesis is already being undertaken in lizards and turkeys but the viability in humans is not yet successful. In this process, the egg automatically duplicates its single set od chromosomes to a duplicate set as is found in normal mature adult cells. The embryo then develops into a “normal” animal.

The results in mammals have not yet been successful due to the failure of what the researchers call “imprinting” which is the recognition of the chromosomes from the male by the females vice versa on fertilization. This imprinting is thought to be the recognition by either set of chromosome that it is itself incomplete without the set from the partner.

Scientists are working on removing the “imprint factor” so future attempts may work.

Complex stuff! Male Eggs and Female Sperms

I know some of this information seem way out, but they are being incubated by educated minds as we speak. Pretending that these are not happening does not change the facts that they are. We are living in a more complexand confusing world today. There are no simple definitions anymore.

The definition of couple, marriage, children and offspring as we know it is changing.The standards and values are changing. What will be the cost to all of us? Who is driving and funding these endeavors, while there are sickness and diseases increasing daily as we tamper with such a delicate issue as the creation of a human life.?

Hope for Middle East Peace

Middle East Peace in our lifetime can we expect it?

Sometimes it seem so grim. Everyone has a point of view and no one willing to listen and truly negotiate and compromise. Hillary Clinton US Secretary of State in the Obama Cabinet and Mr. Obama USA President has a challenge on their hands.

Is it just their challenge though? Can we leave it to these few to generate peace in such an important area of our world ? This state of uneasiness creates an on going sense of impending doom on a daily basis.

This is the era of unsettledness in which we attempt to raise secure and balanced human beings. I wonder what the current world emotion have to do with the state of reaction that our youth appear to be in. They seem all too ready to “fight” with anyone, among themselves, authorities, families, their own ethnicities, what ever, with whom ever. A heightened state of alertness, arousal and exaggerated reactions.

Anyway, the question is still,”what is the struggle about in the Middle East?” Is it about “turf”, land which we found here and we will all leave behind when we are gone and planted in a tiny plot with a plant on top?

Is it about rights, inheritance, power, greed and unwillingness to compromise. Is there a place for each person on earth?

Should Israel relinquish the settlement in Gaza? What are the risks before peace is established and enforced. Why do innocent Palestinians suffer because a few does not want a peaceful life with their neighbours?

Mrs. Clinton visited the unsettled region recently to encourage the resumption of the “Peace Talks”.Mr. Obama has to make his Nobel Peace designation count is this area as well as in Afghanistan and Pakistan. She said that there was no sense of urgency between the two major players, to resume the “Peace Talks”.

The Bible speaks of the “Man of Peace”. Maybe, this is the time for him to appear on the scene to establish a facade of peace.The real man of Peace is very quickly rejected these days, and is even rarely offered as the solution to all this warring in the world. But when Jesus was prophesied in the Old Testament of the Bible, Isaiah 9:6 calls Jesus the Prince of Peace.

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Are we barking up the wrong tree looking for peace?

Is it realistic to think that people of other doctrinal beliefs would come to faith in Christ on a wide scale to effect the kind of peace that is needed at this present time. It would be a dream if this were to happen.

I so understand though that people fight about things that’s important to them and are willing to go to any extreme to ensure that their cause is defenden belief is attached to God and your interpretation of what ones purpose is; this takes the war to a new level.

The Challenge -Let there be Peace on Earth

Let it begin with me! I hope it can begin in you as well. Put our differences aside and focus on our commonalities. We want most of the same things. We have needs in common, even if it is the basic needs for food, oxygen, water, shelter and security. We want to feel a sense of belonging and connectivity. That is the basis of our spiritual esperience for this very short time on earth. What ever your beliefs are, whether we get a second chance and return as a beetle or a cow, let us use this human experience to make the world a better place for now and the future.

I invite each of you as readers of my hub to take up the challenge and leave the earth a more safe and secure place for our off spring. It is not up to Barack Obama and Hilary Clinton. It is up to you.
